Well, good evening everybody! I finally found some time to blog you again! How are you? Had a nice weekend? I actually did! Friday evening was great! Some of the parts were a bit long, but everybody was so good! With two of my friends I sat in the theatre, we had a big laugh at some of the parts because they were a so long, but it was really nice. Saturday my father came to pick me up, but at the moment we walked through the gateway, our old dog fell in the swimming pool! I was shocked! Fortunately, our dog still could swim and my dad could pull him out of the pool. OK. That afternoon I went to Arnhem city, where I bought a lovely baseball jacket! (Check out the photo below). That evening we just chilled on the couch, watching television. My fathers girlfriend said that she still had an old carnaval costume, a real fabulous jumpsuit. With a long fake tail I looked really great, so maybe I'm going to wear that with carnaval. Wow, this Friday the party begins for freaking five days in a row! When it comes closer, I'm actually more looking forward to it. Sunday we celebrated the birthday of my dad, a lot of family came, so it was nice.

Today was a pretty boring day, just like all those Mondays. After school I went to a friend, searching trough their carnaval clothes for something nice, but we ended up making Windsor ties with the help of Youtube.
As I can conclude from the poll I posted, you guys want more fashionposts. So, from now on, I'm going to try to post more fashionposts! Good, I'm going to study now for mathematics, French and German. Wish me luck! xoxoxo Machteld
PS. Oh, before I forget. Saturday we also went to an greenhouse where they plant orchids. I love orchids, so I made some pictures from them as well.

Why do I always dream the weirdest things when I had a girls night out? The story from a specific evening goes further in my dreams, and the next morning I don't remember if I dreamed something, or if it really happened. When I'm looking to my dreams for in the future, I just want to be lucky and happy, like everybody wants to be. I want to have a great job which I love, I want to have a big house, a big car, just the lucky live. And of course I want a very handsome husband, two lovely little children, a cat and a golden retriever. It's just like everybody wants it to be, not very original. Sometimes, I'm in a situation, or I see something, and I think: "wow, this looks so familiar!" and then you, my dream, you showed me what goes wrong when I say something I usually would say, so at that moment, I'll just shut my mouth and say: "I've seen this before. I'm having a déjà vu right now." And the conversation gets a whole other spinning. But, lovely dreams, while I'm looking to my bed where I dreamed all the dreams so far, let me dream in every bed I'll sleep, every pillow my head will lay on. And, beautiful dreams, make me happy. Let me see the world from the bright side, like I see it again those days.

Despicable me! In my last exam week, a friend stopped by with this film. I hesitated, because there was still a lot of learning work to do, but in the end we were watching and laughing. These two scenes of the film were so funny! A week ago I showed a little remix (click) of this to two of my friends, and they had to laugh about it too!

I asked my parents so many times why there was no you, and the answer always was: "your father just wanted one beautiful daughter." But I kept wishing, but you never came. So I decided to just life on, just me, my father and my mother, no you. There are some girls, three to be exact, who feel like my little sisters. Two of them just look up to me, and I know. Their parents also see me as their third daughter and I know I can always go the them if I have a problem. And then there's an other girl, she will know I'm talking about her, and you have to know I'm always, always, there for you.

Busy weekends, lovely days

OMG, it's weekend! Today I had a very short day school, so that was very, very nice. Right now, I'm busy cleaning up my room - yes, my mother was right, it actually is a big mess - and just enjoying the fact I don't have any homework for tomorrow! Tonight I'm going to our school's music evening which I told you about earlier, I'm really looking forward to it! Tomorrow I'm going to my father in Arnhem, because it's his birthday next Tuesday and I can't be there by then. So tomorrow my dad's girlfriend and I go shopping, birthday presents for my dad and maybe, just maybe, some new clothes (shoplog will follow, hihi!). I'm staying In Arnhem until Sunday evening, so I'll have no time to commend on your blogs dears. I'll surely post, can't live without blogging no more, but I don't see my dad that often and I prefer doing things with him than blogging all day long. Well, you get a real big update Monday, when I'm back home and have time haha!

Unfortunately, you two couldn't live together no more, so I think today it has been a year ago since you, Dad, left. Mom and I stayed in the house were we lived together for over ten years. And all the things we made trough, all the fights, the tears, the new relationships you both have now, they made us stronger, all the three of us. You both will be my parents, forever, but no longer together as a happy family. I accepted that, despite it took a little time for me, but I hope you understand it was really hard for me, because I love you both. And yes, I know I've sometimes been a real b*tch to you, but after a year, I accepted the fact that this is how it will be. I love you, Mom and Dad, just that you know it.

Feel pretty, feel great, feel like you can handle the world - Machteld

The weather is absolutely crap in The Netherlands, I'm more and more longing for spring to come. Trough the weather I'm feeling a little bit sick now, sniffles and pain in my throat. This morning I was in a big rush. My alarmclock woke me up an hour later than planned, so I had one hour less to study my M&O. Afterwards, I washed en dried my hair quickly, with the result I had to cycle to school in ten freaking minutes! Normally it takes 20 minutes or something, but I made it! The day went really fast. Last two hours we went ice-skating with gymnastics, it was really fun! Everybody, even the good ice-skaters, had to wear a helmet with a green hairnet, it looked so funny haha! Tomorrow I'm going to our schools music evenings, where one of my friends has to sing and an other friend has to play violin. Really looking forward to that! Well, I'm going to study for my ANW right now and I'll see you tonight!

Oh, before I forgot, yesterday I had no time to post a TDC, so today's day 3. And last night in bed I thought of some real nice ideas for my blog, so maybe I'll post something tonight! xoxoxo Machteld

Oh hell no, it snows!

Freakin' drama, it's snowing for God sake! Well, This will be my first English post on Machtelds muse, haha! I think it will be good for my English as well, so that's positive. Today at school was pretty boring, like the whole week was until now. After school, two friends and I went to our other friend, who has broken a bone, with the result she can't walk or do anything now! About two weeks, it's carnaval. My friend's a real party animal, but with her foot now, she can't celebrate carnaval... It's a big shame! Speaking about carnaval, I still don't know what I'm going to wear. On our school we have a carnaval party, the theme is "gold, wrong and bad" (or in Dutch "goud, fout en stout"). I'm sure I have a gold dress somewhere hanging in my closet, so I'll probably wear that to our school party with some panties, my black 'going out' boots and a blazer or something. Maybe I can stop by at H&M or a carnavalshop, see if they have a nice gold hairaccessory or something. Gold nails, gold lips... Yes, that's a great idea! But for the other four days I'm at a loss what to wear. Maybe you have some ideas? You would really help me out! xoxo Machteld

TDC. Day 2 - Your Crush

Jij bent zo onwijs knap, goddelijk gewoon. Jij bent perfectie, zoals als jij heb ik nog nooit gezien. Jij kunt goed naar me luisteren, en alleen met die lach van je maak jij mijn dag weer goed. Ik kan eindeloos naar je blijven kijken, me afvragend wanneer ik je ooit eens kan ontmoeten. Jij bent de beste achtergrond voor je computer ever, Marlon Teixeira.

Nee, even zonder grappen. Jij bent iemand die ik nog niet gevonden heb. Als ik denk aan mijn ‘crush’, heb ik niet meteen een jij voor me die de potentie zou kunnen hebben om mijn crush te zijn. Natuurlijk zijn er wel jongens die ik leuk heb gevonden, maar op dit moment… niet echt. Er is wel een jij, die al een aardig tijdje in mijn hoofd zit, maar die zie ik niet als crush. Ik vind je ook niet leuk ofzo, maar jij blijft gewoon in mijn hoofd zitten. Maar lieve crush, wie jij dan ook mag zijn, wacht nog maar even met langskomen, want ik wil genieten van mijn zestienjarige bestaan, nergens aan verbonden zitten en gewoon doen waar ik zelf zin in heb. Maar als jij dan toevallig langskomt, ben ik misschien, héél misschien, bereid om mijn vrije leventje voor jou opzij te zetten, zo ben ik dan ook wel weer.

Miss attention? No, just miss optimistic. - Machteld

Het eerste wat ik zag toen ik vanochtend wakker werd was een strak blauwe lucht en een door zonnestralen overgoten kamer. Het eerste wat ik dacht was: lente! Geheel optimistisch met zonnebril en al stap ik de deur uit, was het -3 graden... FIJN. Mijn dagje vandaag was niet zo speciaal, het eerste uur lekker uitgeslapen en tot 1 uur naar school. De laatste twee uren hebben we echt niks meer gedaan, heerlijk. Morgen beginnen de muziekavonden bij ons op school, aanstaande vrijdag ga ik kijken! Mijn vriendin zingt mee, echt superleuk! Alleen beetje jammer dat ze zondag een scheurtje in de bot van haar voet heeft gekregen, waardoor ze nu in het gips zit. Beterschap schattie, er komt een fruitmandje jouw kant op! Wat ik ook nog even wil melden, we hebben onze vakantie geboekt! Samen met mijn vijf beste meisjes naar Terschelling, dat wordt nog wat! Gisteren in bed heb ik een paar superleuke ideeën bedacht voor Machtelds Muse, benieuwd? haha! Hoe was jouw dag? xoxoxo Machtelddddd

TDC. Day 1 - Your Best Friend

Jullie zijn mijn beste vriendinnen. Ieder is op haar eigen manier zo bijzonder voor mij, ik ben zo blij dat de tweede klas gymnasium ons bij elkaar heeft gebracht! Een van jullie ken ik nu al meer dan tien jaar, sinds groep één. Ook al zijn we verschillend, we kunnen ontzettend veel lol samen hebben en samen depressief zijn. Samen naar Spaans, waar we nooit meer heengaan, maar weet wel, lieve jij, ik ben er altijd voor jou. Samen met jou ben ik naar de brugklas gegaan, ons plekje was rechts achterin de klas, dat weet ik nog heel goed! Daar zijn we bevriend geraakt met een andere lieve jij, en ook jij moet weten dat je heel bijzonder voor me bent. Je kunt alles aan me kwijt, ik hoop dat je dat weet. Soms ben je wat stilletjes, en het liefst zou ik dan willen vragen 'he jij, wat is er nou toch?' maar kom op jij, je bent zo'n geweldig meisje, iedereen moet dat weten! Met z'n drieën gingen we naar de tweede klas, waar we jij, jij en jij ontmoetten. De eerste jij is jij met wie ik eindeloze gesprekken kan voeren op msn, zonder dat er ook maar iets zinnigs in gezegd wordt. Met jou kan ik zo lachen (dubbelgestrekt op de grond ja) en aan jou kan ik alles vertellen, en weet dat je dat ook aan mij kan. Tot diep in de nacht de meest onzinnige/filosofische gesprekken hebben en er de volgende dag op school ontzettende lol om hebben, dat is echt goud waard voor mij. De tweede jij is een jij met wie ik in de tweede klas heel goed bevriend raakte, samen met nog een andere jij. Met z'n drieën konden we de wereld aan! Ieder tussenuur maakten we foto's in het hoekje van de kantine. Ik weet ook nog, dat we werden aangehouden door de politie in de stad, omdat we van jouw moeder een jas moesten gaan kopen voor jou. Na een ruzie kwam er een eind aan die drie, maar jij en ik bleven vriendinnen, en de derde jij werd later ook weer een vriendin, waar ik erg blij om ben. Met jullie kan ik nog steeds lachen, al gaat het om niks, en ik ben er altijd voor jullie. Met laatste jij is een jij waarmee ik de slappe lach kan krijgen om niets, maar waar ik eigenlijk al veel te lang geleden iets mee heb gedaan! Ook jij betekent heel veel voor mij! En er zijn nog meer jij's die ik zou willen laten passeren, maar jullie zes zijn het allerbelangrijkste voor mij. Een jij wil ik nog wel even noemen, jij bent als een zusje voor mij, ik zal er altijd voor jou zijn en ik gun je alles (bekende zin? Hihi!) Met jullie jij's is uitgaan zo leuk, winkelen, uit eten, film avondjes, sinterklaas avondjes, chocoladefontijn avondjes en gaaa zo maar door, jullie zijn echt heel belangrijk voor mij. En ook al kom ik soms wat gemeen uit de hoek, dat is echt niet mijn bedoeling. Ik heb afgelopen jaar bij jullie uit kunnen huilen, bij jullie kunnen komen met mijn problemen, en ik hoop dat jullie allemaal weten dat jullie dat ook bij mij kunnen, jij, jij, jij, jij, jij, jij en jij. Ik hou van jullie.

Nobody said it was easy

Hallo dan! De schooldag zit er weer op, wat automatisch betekent dat het weer maandag is, wat betekent dat het weekend weer voorbij is. Ik heb echt een ontzettend leuk weekend gehad! Vrijdag uit met een vriendin, wat ik al eerder had gepost. Zaterdagavond kwam een vriendin eerst pizza eten. Ze was er rond 7 uur, dus wij snel snel naar de supermarkt, meteen even wat drank meenemen, maar ik was mijn ID vergeten, dus kregen we de drank niet mee. Balennn! Rond 9 uur kwam nog een andere vriendin langs en hebben we hier thuis gezellig Dokter Bibber (good old times) gespeeld. Daarna zijn we vertrokken naar een feest van wat mensen op school, en daarna naar de stad! Het was, net zoals vrijdag, een grote geluksavond, ik kwam alleen een kroegje niet binnen, dus toen werd ik via de nooduitgang naar binnen gesmokkeld, maar er 10 minuten later weer uitgezet. Beeetje jammer! We hebben die avond echt heel veel foto's gemaakt, maar die zijn écht niet toonbaar aan de wereld, sorry sorry hihi! Goed, zondag hadden we een doop, waar ik samen met een vriendin in de kerk heb bij zitten kletsne over de vorige avond. Daarna gingen we naar een restaurantje, waar we tot half 6 zijn gebleven. Dáárna naar onze tennisvereniging, waar een teambuildingdag werd georganiseerd en echt iedereen aanwezig was, ook mensen die ik echt al heel lang niet meer heb gezien. Het was echt super gezellig!
Ik denk dat ik vanaf vandaag aan een 30 days challenge ga beginnen, ja lekker orgineel, ik weeet, maar zo leren jullie mij denk ik wat beter kennen! Goed, ik ga aan mijn wiskunde beginnen, vanavond waarschijnlijk nog een update! xoxoxo Machteldddd

START THE MUSIC
Goedemiddag! Man man, Machteld met een klein katertje hier achter de laptop... Gisteren was het echt heel erg gezellig! 's Middags ging ik met een vriend en een vriendin de stad in, op 'missie zonnebril'. En yess, het is gelukt! Ik heb een hele leuke zonnebril bij de Six gekocht, plus een sjaal van H&M (foto's volgen!). Daarna zijn we bij een sushibar (Soho) noodles gaan eten en hebben daar gezeten totdat ze ons tafeltje écht weer nodig hadden en ze ons vriendelijk verzochten weg te gaan. Nou, best.. We hebben echt de hele middag zitten praten en lachen, het was super gezellig! 's Avonds ging ik met mama en haar vriend uit eten bij Rodeo, een steakhouse waar je echt zo lekker kunt eten. We gingen uit eten om hun vakantie af te sluiten en ik mocht kiezen waar we naar toe gingen, superchill. Mijn moeder vroeg of er misschien vrienden van me in de stad waren, zodat ik nog even de stad in kon. Ik ben toen meteen iedereen gaan smsen, en uiteindelijk kon een vriendin komen, dezelfde als waarmee ik 's middags naar de stad was geweest. We gingen eerst nog even naar De Engel, een kroegje voor de oldies, wel gezellig hoor, maar daarna gingen we toch maar de stad in. In mijn favoriete kroegje hebben ze een radje, je moet 1 euro inzetten en dan kun je iets winnen of verliezen. Goed, we hebben 3 euro uitgegeven en daarvoor 3 flessen drank teruggekregen! We hadden met mijn moeder afgesproken om rond 1 uur naar huis te gaan, dus we hadden niet echt lang, maar het was echt heel leuk! Ik ga zo even douchen, en dan zal ik een shoplogje posten en waarschijnlijk de langverwachte sjaalpost! Tot straks lovely's! xoxoxo Machteldd
